Random Acts will launch a season of festivals on Saturday, June 10th, with a celebratory event at the Flat Iron Arts Building in Wicker Park.

The program opened with a surprise greeting from Ringo Starr and from that point on, donations poured in by phone, online, and text…and they're still coming in. They sent out a call for love, and Los Angeles answered with donations big and small. People calling in were not only giving $5, $10, $100, they were telling stories to volunteers about the son they lost to AIDS, or their own cancer battle, or their friend who has survived because of Project Angel Food.

Project Angel Food's LEAD WITH LOVE Emergency Telethon has added more exciting people to the roster, answering the call to help raise much needed funds in support of the growing demand due to COVID-19.  

The COVID-19 pandemic has had such a powerful impact on every industry. Project Angel Food started during the AIDS pandemic in 1989 and continues to operate to serve the Los Angeles community during COVID-19.

CBS today announced the spring premieres dates for two comedies. MAN WITH A PLAN will return for its fourth season Thursday, April 2 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT), after THE UNICORN completes its season run, and the new comedy BROKE will debut the same night, 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT, after CAROL'S SECOND ACT completes its season order.

CBS today unveiled its new year-round 2019-2020 primetime programming lineup featuring four new comedies, four new dramas and 24 returning series.

Deadline reports that Telenovela star Izzy Diaz will play a series regular opposite Jaime Camil, Natasha Leggiero and Pauley Perrette in CBS' comedy pilot From Riches. It was created by Jane the Virgin creator Jennie Snyder Urman and Will & Grace executive producer Alex Herschlag. 

Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Jason Mraz will headline Shane's Inspiration's star-studded gala on Friday evening, March 29th at The Beverly Hills Hotel. The 'The Greatest Playground Reimagined' celebration will be co-hosted by Carrie Ann Inaba ( The Talk/Dancing with the Stars). The festivities will include celebrity red carpet arrivals, cocktail reception, dinner, live and silent auctions, live entertainment, awards program, and much more.

Shane's Inspiration, the global leader in creating inclusive playgrounds and educational programs for children with disabilities, is celebrating its 18th annual gala on Friday evening, March 29, at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Following rumors which circulated this week, actress Pauley Perrette turned to Twitter to confirm the news that she will be leaving her role of Forensic Specialist Abby Sciuto on CBS's long-running drama series NCIS.
