The 2017 Houston Cinema Arts Festival which took place from November 9 13, 2017 celebrated the undying resilience of the City of Houston as it played host to over 30 unique programs spread across multiple partner venues, including Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Rice Cinema, White Oak Music Hall, DiverseWorks, Aurora Picture Show, Caf Brasil, and more.

On Saturday, November 11th, the 9TH Annual Houston Cinema Arts Festival will throw a party unlike anything it has ever put on to date. For the first time in its storied history of partnering with diverse venues for its programming, the Houston Cinema Arts Society is partnering up with White Oak Music Hall as it celebrates resilience through the arts with a dynamic program mixing film, song and dance.

The ninth annual Houston Cinema Arts Festival hosted its Launch Party at Chapman & Kirby in East Village, Ancorian's new mixed-use complex in bustling East Downtown. Houston trendsetters, cinephiles, influencers, and thought leaders gathered together to discuss the exciting lineup for HCAF17, which will take place from November 9 - 13.

Houston Cinema Arts Society (HCAS) will host the seventh iteration of its hugely popular outdoor summer screening program JULYDOSCOPE on July 15 at Discovery Green® in downtown Houston. The screening program will consist of family-friendly selections from CineSpace competition, which has been held each of the past two years during Houston Cinema Arts Festival in partnership with NASA.
