Nina Silver was born and raised in Manhattan and is now a Los Angeles based stage actor. Off-Broadway, Nina played Mrs. Turing and Clemmie Churchill in PTP/NYC’s production of "Lovesong of the Electric Bear" at Atlantic Stage 2. Nina has appeared with the L.A. Theatre Center in "Habitat" (U.S. premiere), "D is for Dog" at South Coast Repertory, "Songs of Bilitis" at the Getty Villa, "Gogol Project" and "Mr. Punch" at the Bootleg Theatre and the Blue Fairy in "Pinocchio" with Rogue Artists Ensemble, "The Night Before Christmas" (U.S. premiere) with Furious Theatre Co. at the Carrie Hamilton at Pasadena Playhouse. She played Lady Macbeth, Cleopatra, Portia, Celia in "As You Like It" and Brigid O'Shaughnessy in the world premiere of "The Maltese Falcon" at Long Beach Shakespeare Company, the White Witch in "Narnia" the musical at Sierra Madre Playhouse. NYC theatre credits include Meg in "Crimes of the Heart" at Abingdon Theatre, Emilia in "Othello", Rosencrantz in "Hamlet" at Genesis Repertory Ensemble., premiering original musicals, "Wild Wind" and "Whiskey Down" at the NY Fringe Festival, "The Heartbreak Diet" at Theatre for the New City.
