Steve & Eydie were dynamite, separately and together. A TOAST TO STEVE & EYDIE on March 18th was a superb salute to these singers, and a hell of a good show, thanks to performers David Lawrence (their son), Debbie Gravitte, and a giant orchestra.

Acclaimed singer Ben Jones is back at 54 Below on March 10th with a show celebrating Frank Sinatra, including classic American Songbook hits by Cy Coleman, Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. In January of 2023, Broadway World called JUST ONE LOOK, the theatrical cabaret show based on the music of Linda Ronstadt, the most anticipated theatrical event of the year. Just prior to the show opening, Linda Ronstadt's hit song “Long Long Time” was featured in an episode of MAX’s (formerly HBO) “This is Us,” and began screaming up the download charts. Interest in Ronstadt’s music was at a new high since her singing career had been cut short by illness. Now, following 12 sold-out performances at Blue Strawberry, JUST ONE LOOK will move to a much larger venue, City Winery St. Louis, to accommodate the demand for tickets. City Winery St. Louis will present JUST ONE LOOK on Wednesday, November 22nd at 7:30 pm.  

The  44-track set features a cross-section of his most beloved songs and sought-after rarities. From the swinging “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” and ebullient “Come Fly With Me” to the breathtaking “Moonlight in Vermont” and torch song “Only The Lonely,” the set also includes previously unreleased tracks culled from the Capitol vaults.

As rehearsals for Sinatra The Musical, the much anticipated brand new musical based on the life and career of the legend and cultural icon began last week, new photographs taken during a workshop presentation of the show have been released.

The one emotion you cannot fake is joy, and that emotion was very evident in the Cutting Room’s audience reaction last night as Steve Maglio crooned the Great American (Sinatra) Songbook.  

The complete cast of over 20 actors who will be performing in Sinatra The Musical -  the major new musical based on the life and career of the legendary artist and cultural icon which premieres at Birmingham Rep in September 2023 - has been announced.
