Starting Tuesday, May 30th and running through June 8th, AMT Theatre at 354 West 45th Street will present The Addams Family, Jr.

​January 18th through the 22nd is BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at AMT Theater. Wednesday through Saturday at 7pm, Saturday at 2 and Sunday at 3pm.

AMT Theater, the exciting new 99-seat Off Broadway theater located at 354 West 45th Street, in the heart the theater district, its Producer Al Tapper, and Artistic Director, Tony Sportiello, announced that the venue’s inaugural Black & Shite Benefit will be held on Monday, November 7th from 6:00PM to 9:30PM at 354 West 45th Street.

AMT Theater, led by veteran Broadway composer Al Tapper and under the artistic direction of playwright and producer Tony Sportiello, announced that the AMT Youth Theatre will begin its 2022 season on Saturday, September 24th and will continue through January 22nd.  

New York City's newest Off-Broadway theatre presents its first full production, An Unbalanced Mind opening July 24. An Unbalanced Mind is a musical revue exploring the original music of Al Tapper, ranging from pastiche-style songs from the Golden Era of musicals, soaring pop ballads, and toe-tapping dance numbers.

AMT will present their first Broadway Musical Camp, an instructional two week musical theater camp for kids, ages 9-18, running two weeks in August from the 15th through the 26th.  The program will run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 12-4.

Emerging Artists Theatre has announced the line-up for the second week of their bi-annual New Work Series. The three-week festival runs March 21 to April 10 and showcases new musicals, dance pieces, solo shows and plays. Over 50 productions will be presented.

AMT Theater, the brand new 99 seat house Off Broadway venue in the heart of the theater district, announces its first ever children's production - Shrek The Musical Junior.  The show has been described as 'half musical, half twisted fairy tale', with music by Jeanine Tesori with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire. 

Award-winning off-Broadway composer/lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh (Love Quirks) will present 4 Sondheim Tribute concerts featuring over 60 singers this January 2022 at renowned cabaret venue Don’t Tell Mama.

MorPi Productions in association with Chain Theatre has finalized casting for the workshop production of Members of the Choir, a new full-length drama by Evan Edwards. The play will be presented at the Chain Studio Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor on October 22 and 23 at 8pm and October 23 at 2pm.

Artistic Director Tony Sportiello announced today that Writer/Director Mary Lauren will be in charge of the Youth Theater Program at AMT Theater, 354 West 45th Street. 

Seth Bisen-Hersh has been producing, emceeing and accompanying his weekly musical theatre showcases at renowned cabaret venue, Don't Tell Mama, for over 12 years now. 

Algonquin Theater Productions has announced that veteran theater stars Ken Jennings from the United States and Joaquin Romero from Mexico will be portraying Walter Winchell in the international presentation of the new Al Tapper musical The Paparazzi. The performance will feature casts from both Guadalajara and New York as they tell the tale of The Paparazzi in both English and Spanish. This one night only event will be done at the historic Ellington Room at 400 West 43rd Street, February 28th at 7:30pm.

Playlight Theatre Company (Artistic Director, Ben Tostado) is presenting a staged reading of a new dark musical, McGurk's Suicide Hall on December 10 at 7:30PM at the Tada! Theater, 15 West 28th Street.

On Sunday, November 11th, Algonquin Theater Productions will present a reading of its new musical, 'The Paparazzi', music and lyrics by Al Tapper, book by Tony Sportiello, directed by Tom Herman.  Some will walk to see the reading, some will take cars or subways.  And some will fly from more than 2500 miles away. 

Broadway star Jim Newman ('Hands on a Hardbody', 'Curtains', 'Steel Pier') joins the cast of the new musical 'The Paparazzi' for a reading this November 11th and 12th at 305 West 38th Street, Ripley Grier Studio Theater. Newman plays country music star Jimmy Maguire who falls prey to the paparazzi and their penchant for distorting the truth. The show has music and lyrics by Al Tapper and a book by Tony Sportiello. The reading on the 11th will be at 6pm, while the one on the 12th will be 1pm.

One special evening at Don't Tell Mama NYC will celebrate the work of composer Cy Coleman, on September 25th 2018 at 7PM.

On April 28th, 2018, Seth Bisen-Hersh will present an all-day, wall-to-wall concert of his songs at the renowned cabaret club, Don't Tell Mama, to celebrate the milestone of his 500th showcase. The four-part concert (1PM, 3:30PM, 6PM & 8:30PM) will consist of 100 of Seth Bisen-Hersh's songs, including 3 world premieres, featuring over 70 performers and cast reunions from every musical that Seth has produced in NYC.
