'The X Factor UK' alum Seann Miley Moore, who is part-Filipino, revisits the Philippines as The Engineer ('EnginQUeer') in the new acclaimed production of Cameron Mackintosh’s 'Miss Saigon.'

This Saturday, Nov. 11, a masterclass on international floral design titled “Nature Meets Fashion” will be held at the Mayuree Ballroom, Dusit Thani Manila, Makati City, with Jerry Sibal, theatrical producer-director and event designer, spearheading the event.

Back in Manila from his two-year stint as Thuy in the UK/Ireland and International tour of 'Miss Saigon,' Gerald Santos is now a certified crossover artist. In his homecoming concert last Saturday, May 4, at the Theatre at Solaire, Santos filled his repertoire with songs from musical theater and from movie musicals that have also crossed over to the pop charts.

Last Saturday night, 'Prince of Ballad' Gerald Santos, who played the role of Thuy in the recent 'Miss Saigon' UK/Ireland and international tour (2017-2019), reunited with fellow 'Saigon' alums Aicelle Santos (Gigi), Joreen Bautista (Kim), and Leo Valdez (Engineer) at The Theatre at Solaire--a rare treat for all 'Saigon' fans.

Balladeer-musical theater actor Gerald Santos discloses, 'I'm silly. I'm crazy as well. I'm human,' although his fans who have been following his career--from his first appearance on GMA's 'Pinoy Pop Superstar' Season Two (2006) to his final bow as one of the principal actors in the recent 'Miss Saigon' UK-Ireland-International tour (2017-2019)--perceive him otherwise.

'One Night Stand" (ONS), a monthly cabaret series, which has been packing in the crowds at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub, Century City Mall, in Makati City since April 2015, presented last Tuesday, August 2, its eight show this year, "I Miss Saigon." No less that theater impresario Cameron Mackintosh, the world's first 'theater billionaire' according to Forbes, much-lauded composer Claude-Michel Schonberg, and prolific theater director Laurence Connor attended the gala premiere of the reimagined production of Schonberg and Alain Boublil's phenonemal musical LES MISERABLES' first-ever Asian Tour, which kicked off at the state-of-the-art The Theatre at Solaire, Solaire Resort and Casino, last Wednesday, March 16.

MISS SAIGON producer Cameron Mackintosh has just released the details of the open call auditions for the upcoming global productions of the show whose reimagined 25th-anniversary production took London by storm and is set to open on Broadway next year, starring Eva Noblezada as Kim and Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer.

The latest international touring production of the film-to-stage adaptation of SINGIN' IN RAIN, produced by Stage Entertainment and Chichester Festival Theatre, opened at the Theatre at Solaire Resort and Casino (ASEANA Avenue, Paranaque, Manila) last Thursday, August 20.
