Michael R. Jackson, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author and composer of the acclaimed musical A Strange Loop, will pen a new original horror film for A24. 

Deadline has reported that Tony Award-winners Nathan Lane and Patti LuPone, along with Oscar-nominee Amy Ryan, and Kylie Rogers have joined A24’s ​​​​​​​'Disappointment Blvd.' Ari Aster will write and direct.

This morning, Film Independent announced the nominations for the 2019 Film Independent Spirit Awards. The Spirit Awards are the primary fundraiser for Film Independent's year-round programs, which cultivate the careers of emerging filmmakers and promote diversity in the industry. It will next screen at the 2013 Berlin International Film Festival in the Panorama section. Cinedigm plans a theatrical release and awards qualifying run for the film in 2013.
