This year's production, a fundraiser supporting Musical Theatre Guild and its' Student Outreach programs, will perform twice; in Rancho Mirage, at the Galen Performing Arts Center on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, and in Los Angeles, at the Colony Theatre in Burbank on Sunday, January 21st. Both performances take place at 7:00PM.

Cape Rep Theatre's summer Indoor Theater season begins with the regional premiere of A Man of No Importance. 

Cape Rep Theatre will present the Cape Cod premiere of A Man of No Importance, the Tony-nominated, award-winning Broadway musical, directed by Art Devine, musical direction by Scott Storr.

Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Board Chair Richard Harshman announced today that Kendra Whitlock Ingram has been named the Cultural Trust's new President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing retiring President and CEO J. Kevin McMahon.

Due to new usage rules & regulations issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for Point State Park, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is no longer able to utilize the site for its celebration of the arts.

Glimmerglass Film Days, a program of Otsego 2000, will present a virtual film festival plus in-person screenings and events in Cooperstown, NY, November 4-11. Curated by Artistic Director Margaret Parsons and Programmer Joey Katz, the slate of independent documentaries and narrative features and shorts reflects the theme “Rise.”  

The cast has been announced for Punchy! The Musical, a brand new musical at The Courtyard Theatre. This raucous, affecting piece of gig-theatre brings the soulful sounds of the 1950s to the heart of Hoxton.  Robert Hook (Peaky Blinders, BBC; The Milkman's on His Way) will take on the lead role of the wayward and conflicted George 'Punchy' Armstrong.

Guests gathered at the Trust's 9th & Penn Parklet where James Rosati's sculpture Duo is on view for everyone to enjoy.  The work was donated by Jane C. Arkus, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Trustee, and her late husband, Leon A. Arkus.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust bids farewell to its Head Curator of 25 years, Murray Horne. Mr. Horne became Curator of Wood Street Galleries in 1996 to oversee all visual arts programming for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
