Kersti Bryan BIO

Kersti works as an actress, writer, producer and adventurer based in NYC.

Kersti has worked Off-Broadway, internationally and regionally in Film & Television and Theatre.

She has been nominated for the Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Actress in a Large Theatre and for Best Supporting Actress at the Madrid IFF for her performance in Ryan Denmark’s Hell’s Heart. She received the Adelyn Roth Levine Excellence in Acting Award from Carnegie-Mellon University.

As an adventurer, she has been paragliding in Nepal, sky diving in Siberia and trekked solo through Croatia, Jordan, Israel, and Palestine. She received a Theatre Communications Grant for theatre work in Russia and was a TCG U.S. Delegate to Havana, Cuba in 2015.

Kersti has been in residency at Eugene O'Neil Theatre Center, with Fresh Ground Pepper Theatre and has her own production company, Violet's Umbrella. She is a proud member of the AEA and SAG-AFTRA.

Kersti studied acting at Interlochen Arts Academy and then Carnegie-Mellon University and the Moscow Art Theatre.

Performances run, December 6,7,8, 13, 14, 15 at 8:00pm, and Sundays, December 9 and 16 at 3:00pm for a total of eight performances, with ASL and Audio Interpretation at the Friday, December 14th performance. Beginning at 6:30pm prior to the December 14th performance, the Art House Access Committee will host a free mixer for artists with and without disabilities. Wine and hors d'oeuvres included. In concurrence with Not Medea, the Art House Gallery will be open for its inaugural Affordable Art Show featuring over 75 fine art pieces all selling for $500 and under. Fresh from numerous successful workshop performances in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Warsaw, Poland, My Report to the World: The Story of Jan Karski, is headed for enhanced development and public staged reading performances this July, in a workshop residency to be held at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in downtown Manhattan. As part of this Residency, one performance will be held in D.C. on Monday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Lansburgh Theatre in D.C., co-sponsored by the US Holocaust Memorial Museum and in partnership with Bisno Productions, and The Jan Karski Educational Foundation.
