And in its latest offering of this rare gem of a revue, New Generation Theatrical delivers a stylish, sophisticated and thoroughly satisfying production – giving audiences a simple but thrilling musical with something for everyone.

Omnium Circus will present its unique production as part of Lincoln Center's Big Umbrella Festival featuring a special array of programming specifically for young audiences with autism and other developmental disabilities and their families.  

Omnium Circus makes its New York City debut when its world-class, fully inclusive, fully accessible show, “I’Mpossible,” plays The Claire Shulman Theater at Queens Theatre in Queens, NY for two performances on Saturday, May 14 as part of the Forward Festival of the Arts, a national festival highlighting the artistry of Deaf/Disabled performers. Shows are at 2:00pm and 8:00pm.

Johnathan Lee Iverson brings his commanding presence and noteworthy professional vocals to his new solo cabaret - The Last Ringmaster: A Musical Journey from Choirboy to the Big Top - in The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series, May 18 and 19, 2022. Playhouse Musical Director Christopher Leavy will accompany on piano. 

What a pleasure it is to discover a hidden (or not so hidden!) gem. Such was the case for me this weekend, when I visited, for the first, but certainly not last, time the Winter Park Playhouse in Winter Park (Orlando), FL. The theatre, which positions itself as Central Florida’s only professional musical theatre, is presenting its latest production, the Southeastern premiere of J.C. Johnson and Garry Holmes’ TRAV’LIN: A 1930’s HARLEM MUSICAL ROMANCE. What I discovered when entering this space was a vibrant, warm, inviting and thriving theatre company which, if evidenced by the current production, offers high-quality, entertaining and thrilling productions of musical theatre to Orlando theatergoers. The Winter Park Playhouse, referred to by Executive Director, Heather Alexander in her curtain speech for TRAV’LIN as the “Cheers of Musical Theatre” seems to live up to that reference – a place where everyone knows your name and which welcomes each patron with warm smiles and, most importantly, a good time.

Trav'lin - The 1930s Harlem Musical Romance, a joyful celebration of love in the Jazz Age with a classic jazz and blues score, is receiving its Southeast regional premiere to kick off the Mainstage Series at Florida's Winter Park Playhouse.

The Winter Park Playhouse has reset the date for their opening night and production run of their blockbuster Southeast Regional Premiere - Trav'lin: A 1930's Harlem Musical Romance. The show will now open January 27 and run through February 19, 2022.

Omnium Circus will debut its live show under the big top tent opening at Tysons III, in Tysons, Virginia, from November 18 through January 9. Initially launched during the pandemic as a critically acclaimed virtual spectacle, the not-for-profit Omnium Circus is now part of the long-awaited return of live entertainment.

The professional cast of six includes three actors returning to the Playhouse Mainstage - Tay Anderson (Life Could Be A Dream, What A Glorious Feeling, Andrews Brothers) Adam Biner (What A Glorious Feeling, Five Course Love) and Caila Carter (A Grand Night for Singing) and three actors making their Playhouse Mainstage debut - Johnathan Lee Iverson, Anastasia Remoundos and Russell Stephens. 

Big changes are coming to Omnium Circus and its world class, multi-talented, multi-abled and multi-backgrounded troupe (www.omniumcircus.org), beginning June 9, when it launches a spectacularly revamped virtual show featuring two exciting new acts along with reimagined favorites and more. Omnium is also expanding its access options to include Spanish language in addition to ASL, captioning, audio description, and plain language features.

Broadway On Demand streamed the riveting final, as Harvard pulled off the last of an incredible string of wins over A Cappella legends: (1) CARA-nominated Ivy rival Yale; (2) 2-time ICCA Champion Berklee; (3) 2-time South Asian National Champion Rutgers; (4) renowned Pitch Perfect 2 star UPenn; and finally, (5) NBC's The Sing-Off Champion Vanderbilt.

In a brave new virtual world, 64 of the nation’s most decorated college A Cappella groups were selected from 5,000+ to compete in the unprecedented “UpStagedAID: One World, Every Student Voice™” NCPA A Cappella Championships for $10,000+ in cash prizes for teams and their chosen Social Justice Charity.

Circus Omnium (www.CircusOmnium.org) is extending their inaugural virtual season, giving audiences an opportunity to experience this bold new circus now through January 31.

The show celebrates our strengths, our individual uniqueness, and the potential of the human spirit unlike any other live show. An exclusive livestream showcase on December 12 will introduce audiences to this bold new experience, while a multi-city tour under a genuine big top tent is being planned for Summer 2021.
