Jessica Carollo BIO

A graduate of the prestigious Circle in the Square professional acting program in New York City. Jessica also has extensive musical theater training from the Long Island Performing Arts High School, and is a student of Bill Daugherty and Kathryn Rossetter at NYU’s Cap21 summer musical theater workshop. This lead her to countless regional and professional shows including the role of “Belle” in the Long Island regional premiere of Beauty and the Beast.

As part of her earlier training, Jessica was an active member of ”NYSSMA” (The New York State School Music Association) A singing competition where she earned two “Outstanding” medals two years in a row. This lead to her acceptance into the “All Country” singing choir, that selects only 50 students? a year? to perform at Tiles Center at C.W. Post University. She then went on to earn an associates degree from Nassau Community College.

After graduating, Jessica was part of the NY Fringe festival in the musical comedy,  "Invader? I hardly know her!” as well as being cast in the web series, “What Exit?” currently streaming on Roku’s own station MaddyGTV. Jessica was then brought back to her roots to Circle in the Square theater to star in a original children’s theater show called, “Fat Horse and Slim” which was directed by the late Theodore Mann founder of Circle in the Square Theater.

In 2014, Jessica would begin to add producing, as well as performing credits to her resume; in a one of a kind benefit cabaret called, “Voices from the Aisle” taking the ushers of broadway and shifting the spotlight to feature the talent of the Front of House staff. Following this, Jessica would create a new comedic pilot called, “Obstructed View” about broadway ushers and the many situations they face with the lack of theater etiquette from audience members. For more information on the pilot, visit http://obstructedview.weebly.com

Along with ushering for the broadway musical “On The Town,” Jessica continues to stay involved in the Broadway community; including volunteering for events for the Drama League organization. Recently volunteered for the 4th year in a row for the Drama League Gala which honored the great James Earl Jones. Past honorees include Kristen Chenoweth, Audra McDonald and Neil Patrick Harris.

Jessica is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
