Omaha's favorite holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol, will open Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at the Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP). The show will run in the Hawks Mainstage Theatre from Nov. 18 through Dec. 23. Performances will be held Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and two performances Sundays at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

This year will be Jerry Longe’s final year as Ebenezer Scrooge in the Omaha Community Playhouse’s mainstage production of A Christmas Carol. Longe has played the role of Scrooge for 17 years. 

If you find yourself looking for something to do with the whole family, head on down to the Omaha Community Playhouse and spend some time with Scrooge, some wonderful carolers, and maybe even a ghost or three.

No matter if you are a fan of farce or not, I suggest stopping by the Omaha Community Playhouse and spending your evening with the cast and crew of The Mystery of Irma Vep. Who knows… You may even find yourself in Egypt without ever boarding a plane.

Holiday shows A Christmas Carol and Yesterday and Today, the interactive Beatles show featuring Billy McGuigan and his brothers, return to the Omaha Community Playhouse for their 10th year this holiday season. Tickets for Yesterday and Today are available now and tickets for A Christmas Carol go on sale Tuesday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m.
