NBC has announced that it will air Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert starring John Legend and Sara Bareilles on Sunday, April 12!

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Broadway veteran Jeff Fenholt passed away yesterday, September 10, at the age of 68. His son, Tristan, wrote on Facebook: 'Yesterday, my dad- Jeff Fenholt- went home to be with the Lord. Like all of us, he was not a perfect man, but he knew the perfect Savior (Jesus), and loved to share the gospel with as many people as possible. His music and ministry literally touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.'

With news of the nominations, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Time Rice, and John Legend are all just one Emmy win away from becoming EGOT-ers - a term reserved for those who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony Award. He served as an executive producer of Jesus Christ Superstar.

TODAY's Hoda Kotb sat down with John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Brandon Victor Dixon and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber to talk about their live performance of "Jesus Christ Supertar Live in Concert," which attracted more than 10 million viewers. Webber says he's "never been so proud of 'Superstar' in his life," which Legend calls "the best compliment we could get' on TODAY. Watch the clip below!
