Director Jason Langley along with Canberra’s Heart Strings Theatre bring their production to the Hayes theatre. It follows the story of the first American woman soldiers who were instrumental in the victory of the first World War.

When a group of Cornish fishermen came together to sing the traditional working songs they’d sung for generations, nobody, least of all the fishermen, expected the story to end on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. They are spotted by a fish-out-of-water music manager on a trip from London, who must learn that there is more to life than selling your sole for fifteen minutes of fame.

Featuring the original London cast, the album was released for download and streaming earlier this year. The release will coincide with the musical's first Broadway preview at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street) on Saturday, October 12. The CD features a 20-page booklet, which includes liner notes, synopsis, and production and studio photography. The album was recorded in February 2019 at Angel Studios and RAK Studios, produced by the show's Music Supervisor Nicholas Skilbeck and Kurt Deutsch, and co-produced by Tom Kelly. The winner of the 2018 Rob Guest Endowment Award was announced tonight at the conclusion of the Grand Final Event held at Sydney's Capitol Theatre. Competing against five other outstanding Semi-Finalists, Annie Aitken (Melba, Muriel's Wedding) took out the prestigious award after being chosen by an expert panel of judges, which comprised Kellie Dickerson, Jason Langley, Sharon Millerchip and Guy Simpson.
