He excels in earnest, eye-opening performances and hilarious madcap comedies. Between performances, Jared enjoys chess, competitive table soccer, and generally being a nerd. Jared graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008.

East Lynne Theater Celebrates Women's History Month With Reading of SOMETHING TO VOTE FOR


East Lynne Theater Company will present a reading of 'Something to Vote For' by Charlotte Perkins Gilman for free, due to support from ​The New Jersey Council for the Humanities through its 'NJ Women Vote: ​The 19th Amendment at 100' initiative, and The New Jersey Theatre Alliance's 'Stages Festival.'​​​

'It is my belief that the spirit of man is eternal, and free to communicate with the living,' claimed photographer William H. Mumler (1832-1884).  He also claimed he could take pictures of ghosts with his camera. Mary Todd Lincoln was among the many who flocked to his studio to have pictures taken just to see who would be in the photo. Mumler's photo of Mrs. Lincoln shows the ghost of her husband standing above her, his hand on her shoulder.

The Seeing Place Theater, known for intense & intimate ensemble work, concludes its 9th Season with two compelling plays running in rotating repertory: THE MAIDS by Jean Genet involves two sisters, enslaved maids to a wealthy society woman, who act out fantasies of class, love and revenge while the lady of the house is out on a romantic rendezvous. MEASURE FOR MEASURE by William Shakespeare involves a young novice nun who is compromised by a corrupt official - who offers to save her brother from execution in return for sex. When she threatens to expose him, he tells her that no one would believe her.

The Olney Theatre Institute, the education division of Olney Theatre Center, is proud to announce the return of its children's programming to the Olney Theatre Center campus with Red Riding Hood: A New Fable.
