As of today, Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap, the world's longest running stage production, has become the most successful ever week-long play to have been performed at Southampton's Mayflower Theatre.

For over 50 years, Agatha Christie's THE MOUSETRAP has been the world's longest running stage production. The first ever tour of the record-breaking production will open on 11 September 2012 in Canterbury and tour through to 2014. For the first leg of the tour the cast will include: Steven France (Eastenders, The Bill) as Christopher Wren, Thomas Howes (Downton Abbey, The History Boys (National Theatre UK Tour)) as Sgt Trotter.
