In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920's draw to a close, a garish MC welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee's bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin's natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich.
Gaddas & Clark will initially produce small, power-packed productions based on classic books, finding new ways to tell these well-known stories with fresh interpretations and unexpected twists. They are already collaborating with industry-leading figures to develop this work.

Casting has been announced for the Barn Theatre Cirencester's inaugural professional production of The Secret Garden, which will run from March 16 to April 15. The Menier Chocolate Factory today announced that Alexander Hanson joins the company of The Lie playing the husband of his real-life spouse Samantha Bond. Hanson replaces James Dreyfus who has regretfully had to withdraw from the production on medical advice.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the full company for Florian Zeller's The Lie in a translation by Christopher Hampton - Lindsay Posner directs Samantha Bond, James Dreyfus, Tony Gardner and Alexandra Gilbreath.

David Hare's new adaptation of Ibsen's THE MASTER BUILDER has rounded out its company, led by Ralph Fiennes, for its winter run at The Old Vic, and Broadway actress Linda Emond is among the new additions to the cast. Not only that, but the Daily Mail is reporting that producer Scott Rudin will bring the production to Broadway next fall.
