Molly Shannon is joining Only Murders in the Building as a recurring character in season four. While plot details are under wraps, the Saturday Night Live will play an LA business woman who is drawn into the world of New York investigation. Season four will launch in California before the trio returns to The Arconia in NYC to solve Saz's murder.

This morning, nominees for the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® honoring outstanding individual, cast and ensemble performances for the past year were announced. The soundtrack features killer performances by Meryl Streep, Ashley Park, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, and Jason Veasey and includes four original songs written by Pasek & Paul, Sara Bareilles, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, and Michael R. Jackson. The deluxe edition also includes two bonus tracks and an original score by Siddhartha Khosla.

Broadway fans can spot many familiar faces in the third season, including Meryl Streep, Don Darryl Rivera, Gerald Caesar, Allison Guinn, Jesse Williams, Paul Rudd, Andrea Martin, Jackie Hoffman, Wesley Taylor, Linda Emond, Matthew Broderick, and Jeremy Shamos, joining stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez.

Fans of Hulu’s hit Original series ‘Only Murders in the Building’ starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez can be immersed into the center of season three’s broadway theater murder mystery. Taking fans into the actual space season three was filmed in, the immersive experience explores The Goosebury Theater [United Palace].

A lot can happen in 525,600 minutes. Love is found, dreams are lost, and lives are irrevocably altered. Such is the premise of Jonathan Larson’s rock musical, Rent, which is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini’s 1896 opera, La Bohème. Larson wanted to tell the stories of his friends who were afflicted by the AIDS epidemic and, at the same time, highlight the struggles that he and his peers faced as young artists in New York City. Sadly, Larson died from an aortic aneurysm the night before Rent opened Off-Broadway. He would not see it go on to Broadway and win the 1996 Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama; however, his vision continues in Broadway at Music Circus’ finale of their 2023 season.

Sara Bareilles and Michael R. Jackson are the latest Broadway songwriters to join the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building. The join the previously announced Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul in writing musical numbers for the Broadway musical-themed season. Watch the video of the trailer now!

After Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman had previously confirmed their involvement in the season, Hulu has confirmed to BroadwayWorld that Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are also two of the lyricists who contributed to the series' musical numbers. Broadway veteran Carrie St. Louis is Starlight’s Elle Woods.  She is super in the role.  St. Louis is cute and bubbly, but no dumb bunny with a huge mezzo-soprano voice that dominates a theater with eight thousand seats.  She is also a determined and skilled dancer.

 Carrie St. Louis will star as Elle Woods in the Kansas City Starlight Production of LEGALLY BLONDE. The production will be Directed and Choreographed by Nikki Snelson, who originated the role of Brooke Wyndham in the Original Broadway production of Legally Blonde. St. Louis most recently starred in the off-Broadway hit TITANIQUE, as well as starring roles in Kinky Boots, Wicked, and Rock of Ages on Broadway.

Producer and Disney music vet Mitchell Leib will present an invite-only Equity presentation of Bonnie Gleicher's (book, music, and lyrics) new musical Gavroche, directed by Catie Davis and music direction by Adam Laird on Thursday, October 20.

Back in Manhattan from the Wicked tour, song-and-dance divo Ben Bogen will reprise his hit debut solo show.
