Andy Christopher, who played Buddy Holly in “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” at Bucks County Playhouse, and his wife, Esther Stilwell, will bring their cabaret performance, “That'll Be the Day: A Rock 'n Roll Romance,” to New Hope for four performances, February 4 – 6.

More than 200 supporters of TheatreSquared's Our Next Stage Campaign gathered in the company's near-complete, state-of-the-art new home on Saturday for a black tie celebration as the company announced the new milestone of ninety percent of building funds raised.

Performed in a stylish production with a quartet of stunning soloists and a trio of fine musicians, this soundtrack of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s tells its story in song and dance and offers theatre-goers a wholly satisfying and warmly memorable experience.

Maine State Music Theatre and Portland Stage have joined forces for the second year to present a co-production at Portland Stage of THE ALL NIGHT STRUT.  This classy, swinging, moving soundtrack of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s offers a nostalgic step back into time with beloved songs of the Depression, WWII, and post war America, performed by Curt Dale Clark, Missy Dowse, Bryant Martin, and Esther Stilwell. Ed Reichert at the piano leads the band in this lively, warm, funny, and musically memorable evening.

Over fifty years ago, a bespectacled kid from Lubbock, Texas changed the face of popular music. Buddy Holly's meteoric rise to stardom was cut short when at the age of just 22 he died tragically in a plane crash. Fulton Theatre's production of Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story tells the tale of the three years in which he became the world's top recording artist.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday, August 16th, Broadway Sessions welcomes cast members from the recent Broadway hit Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

The Warner Theatre (John Bonanni, Executive Director) by special arrangement with Theresa Wozunk will present the world premiere of LIBERTY A Monumental New Musical- with book and lyrics by Dana Leslie Goldstein and music by Jon Goldstein. Directed by Igor Goldin, performances of LIBERTY A Monumental New Musical begin June 30th, 2012 and continue through July 14th at the Warner Theatre in Torrington, Connecticut.

Last night, March 20, Priscilla Queen of the Desert celebrated the musical's landmark one year anniversary at the Palace Theatre before the show with the stars cutting the "Priscilla Pink Pie Face Pie" from Australia's most celebrated Bakery cafe "Pie Face." Following the celebratory performance, Priscilla's half millionth audience member was crowned on stage along with a secret "Oprah-style" prizing moment and a special surprise performance from the cheerleading squad "Cheer New York." The Tony Award®-winning musical, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, produced by "The Divine Miss M" Bette Midler, is collaborating with the makeup line NYC New York Color for a special makeup line inspired by PRISCILLA - "Color Your World: Makeup for Everyone."
