Dear Readers, warning, I’m about to be a bit of a snob here. I know, big surprise. But I’m not the biggest fan of the musical, “Beetlejuice”, currently playing at the Paramount Theatre. I wasn’t a fan when I first heard the cast recording and now having seen it, I can’t say my opinion has changed all that much. A bit, but not much.

A ghost comes to the stage in this edgy and irreverent musical comedy based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film. Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia, a strange and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life.

Join your friendly neighborhood demon, Beetlejuice, for a few hours of hilarity and horror. Broadway’s BEETLEJUICE is at Music Hall at Fair Park February 20-March 3.

Maybe BEETLEJUICE: THE MUSICAL, is Gen Z’s ROCKY HORROR SHOW. When THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW first premiered in London in 1973, it received mixed reviews from critics. This has helped to cultivate a dedicated fan base among younger audiences who are drawn to the show's behind-the-scenes content, fan art, and discussions.

Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta announced that single tickets for the North American Tour of BEETLEJUICE will go on sale Friday, Jan. 19.
