Beck Center for the Arts has announced Diversity Celebration 2023, full of powerful and robust arts programming for all members of the community.

Beck Center for the Arts' Creative Arts Therapies Department will produce an original theatrical production with music, our 21st Razzle Dazzle: By The Book--The Clef Notes, to be performed April 28 and April 29, 2023 in the Music & Creative Arts Therapies (MCAT) Building on the Oatey Recital Hall Stage.

​​​​​​​Beck Center for the Arts will present the Annual Rotary Club of Lakewood and Rocky River Speech, Music, and Visual Arts contests once again. This is the 78th year of this competition, and Beck Center has been the lead collaborative partner for over 25 years.

Danielle Dore is a local artist working in both 2D and ceramic genres. She is a long-time visual arts instructor, and the pottery manager at Beck Center. Ryan Finley is a Cleveland-based freelance hand-drawn artist.

Beck Center for the Arts unveils a new visual arts exhibition created by local regional talents that is a feast for the senses. In collaboration with TRANSIT ARTS, a program of Central Community House, some pieces on display are even available for purchase at Customer Service inside Beck Center's main building.

During the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic Beck Center sees and meets the needs in the community for arts as a healing tool, stress reliever for people of all ages, and a way to come together, virtually.

Beck Center for the Arts is elated to present the upcoming 2020 Dance Production, Cinderella. Choreographed by Associate Director of Dance Education Melanie Szucs, this ballet follows the traditional Brothers Grimm storyline with a few exciting twists. Cinderella features a compilation of music and a special excerpt from Giselle, performed by the Dance Workshop with choreography by Marius Petipa and music by Adolphe Adam.

Beck Center for the Arts' Creative Arts Therapies Department and the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD) will present Razzle Dazzle XIX: It's SENSEsational, May 3 - 4, 2019. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3, and 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. Performances will be held in Beck Center's Music and Dance Building.

The holiday season is already underway and Beck Center for the Arts has created a great lineup of family-friendly events to keep your hearts warm despite the frigid temperatures! From magical musical theater and dance performances on tour, to an exhibition tradition and hilarious youth theater, there's sure to be something memorable for people of all ages and abilities.
