This year's Harlem School of the Arts (HSA), HSA@Home, Summer Dance Experience has begun. The organization has one of the best all-around dance programs in the country, and the Intensive, introduced two years ago, has fast risen to the top of in-demand summer programs.

The Harlem School of the Arts' (HSA) dance director, Aubrey Lynch, today announced that the world-famous Radio City Rockettes will help to prepare the young precision dance ensemble, The Harlemettes, for their December 19th, 7:00 pm appearance at the Kaye Playhouse, located at 695 Park Avenue, NYC 10065.

On March 14, more than 150 tri-state area children participating in the upcoming Garden of Dreams Talent Show will rehearse their singing, dancing, spoken word, hip-hop and musical acts while celebrity mentors offer advice on how to improve their technique and overall performance. The 12th annual Garden of Dreams Talent Show is taking place at Radio City Music Hall on March 27 at 7:00PM and the event is free and open to the public.

BROADWAY BY THE YEAR, the musical revue series created, written, directed, and hosted by Scott Siegel and which pays tribute to a different era of Broadway composers each program, is a stroke of brilliance. Occurring once a month, each evening is dedicated specifically to one decade of American musical theater, and features some of the most talented stars currently working in American musical theater. The series' most recent installment (and the first of 2017) on February 27 at its usual home, The Town Hall, paid tribute to the 1920s. The decade, which inducted into the theatrical cannon the likes of George and Ira Gershwin and Richard Rodgers, brims with melodically-rich scores including songs of yearning and joviality. The tunes selected for the evening certainly felt of their era; however, put into the hands of such skilled performers as Carolee Carmello, Beth Malone, and Robert Cuccioli (to name a few), they could be heard with fresh and non-cynical ears.

The world-famous Rockettes and Knicks City Dancers along with Broadway stars Tony Vincent (American Idiot, NBC's "The Voice"), Christina Sajous (Spiderman), Derrick Baskin (Memphis) and Justin Johnson (Rent) are serving as this year's guest artists mentoring for nearly 100 children partaking in the Garden of Dreams Talent Show. It may not quite feel like Christmas yet, but legendary American Icons, the Radio City Rockettes ‘kick'-started the 2010 Radio City Christmas Spectacular season with a coast-to-coast kick-off on August 12th with a live performance in front of Radio City Music Hall, joined by special guests Santa Claus and Race Taylor of WPLJ, followed by inviting patrons to join in their legendary kick-line.
