Christine Mottram is an Actress based out of New York City. She was born in Houston, Texas, but she's not very "Texan" because she spent most of her time there attending an international school where all of her classes were in French. She moved around a lot as a kid, doing a stint in Wisconsin before her family finally settled in North Carolina. (As a result of all this moving, Christine developed a great propensity for Southern and Midwestern accents, y'all.) She received her degree in Dramatic Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, studied Practical Aesthetics at the Atlantic Acting School, and studied acting in French at NYU Paris.

Some of Christine's favorite theatre credits since moving to NYC in 2009 include: CLOUD 9 by Caryl Churchill with Columbia Stages, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST at The Summit Playhouse in Summit, NJ, and HUD: A BRIEF HISTORY OF COMMUNICATION with Roots & Wings Theatrical. Other companies she's worked with both in the city and regionally include: Ground UP Productions, Tip My Cup Productions, ReniGraef Productions, and PlayMakers Repertory.

Christine is also stepping into more TV/film roles. Recently she played Shaelyn on the ANGER episode of the Discovery ID show, DEADLY SINS. She has played leading and supporting roles in several short films, including MULATTO'S DILEMMA, which has gone to several national festivals and which won Best Romantic Comedy at the 2012 New York Film Festival in LA.
