Queens Theatre presents Gifted: A socially distant holiday comedy in three episodes written and directed by Topher Payne (Hallmark Channel's A Gift To Remember) New episodes will be released Thursdays, December 3, 10 & 17 on Queens Theatre's YouTube and Facebook channels. A special Holiday Watch Party featuring a screening of all three episodes and a live cast and company reunion will take place on Zoom on Monday, December 21.

When Barefoot in the Park opens at the Queens Theatre on Saturday, November 15th, two fantastic actors will fill the iconic roles of newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter who are attempting to start their new life together. The Guthrie's current production of THE GLASS MENAGERIE (the fifth in its history) is delicate and heartbreaking as well as absolutely faithful to the non-naturalistic spirit of the play, which was so ground-breaking in its day. And while theater nowadays often bounds over all the strictures of realism, making us accustomed to imagistic writing, non-linear structure, and conceptual design, in no way does GLASS MENAGERIE as staged here seem clunky or old-fashioned. It's a true classic and a masterpiece and perhaps, as the young woman sitting next to me said, may remain so for all time.

The Syracuse University Department of Drama concludes its 2018-2019 season with Naomi Iizuka's 'Good Kids.' This production is directed by faculty member Holly Thuma and features New York City based actor Carey Cox, who portrays the character Dierdre. 'Good Kids' runs May 3 through May 11 in the Storch Theatre at the Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, 820 East Genesee St., Syracuse, New York, 13210.

Written by Reina Hardy, directed by Ana?s Koivisto, and produced by Katherine Sommer, the production features actors Carey Cox (The Glass Menagerie, Broadway), Christopher Alexey Diaz (Asolo Repertory Theatre), Meghann Garmany (The Schoolhouse Theater), and Virginia Roncetti (A Brush with Georgia O'Keefe, Off-Broadway).
