Caleb Baze BIO

Caleb Baze is an actor, singer, musician, and dancer currently based out of Chicago, IL. Caleb grew up in the small-town of Stephenville, Texas (also known as The Cowboy Capitol of the World). He soon moved to Edmond, Oklahoma where he recieved his Bachelor's of Music in Musical Theatre from The University of Central Oklahoma in December of 2013.

Chicago credits: The Marriott Theatre's World Premiere of October Sky (Ensemble/ Homer & Quentin u/s) and production of Spring Awakening (Ensemble/Hanschen, Ernst, & Georg u/s), Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre's productions of A Marvin Hamlisch Songbook (Featured Vocalist) and Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon). Regional credits: Next to Normal (Gabe), Shrek: The Musical (Pinocchio), Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter), Godspell (All Good Gifts Track), All Shook Up (Dennis). Caleb is a graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma with a BM in Musical Theatre

Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport Avenue - is pleased to announce the cast of HAIR: THE AMERICAN TRIBAL LOVE-ROCK MUSICAL, playing from July 27 through September 17. Press opening is Thursday, August 3rd at 8:00pm. A celebration of 50 years since the 1967 "Summer of Love", HAIR will inspire audiences to "let the sun shine in" and stand up for what they believe in. This rousing rock musical will be led by Jeff Award Winners Brenda Didier (Director) and Eugene Dizon (Musical Director) with choreography by Christopher Carter.  A talented cast of Chicago artists featuring Matt Keffer and Liam Quealy will take the stage in this celebration of love, life, and freedom.

Donica Lynn announces the fifth annual benefit concert Today's a Good Day-Walk With Me at 8:00pm on Monday, June 26, 2017 at The Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N. Southport Ave. All proceeds from tickets sales, donations, and raffle will be donated equally to the American Cancer Society and the American Brain Tumor Association.

Porchlight's New Faces Sing Broadway Returns with SONGS OF 2001 and UPTOWN UNDERGROUND

Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the second performance in its 2016 - 2017 season of Chicago's hit musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway 2001, hosted by Keely Vasquez, is Monday, Jan. 23 at Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Ave in Skokie and Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Uptown Underground, 4707 N. Broadway at 7:30 p.m.  In tribute to the original New Faces series that ran on Broadway and on film from 1934 - 1968, Porchlight Music Theatre last year created this Chicago musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway, as a showcase for the best emerging musical talent now performing on Chicago stages.
