The New Victory Theater and The 24 Hour Plays have partnered for Speak Up, Act Out: Celebrating Student Voices, a creative writing program aimed at uplifting student writers and their work. New York City students in grades 5 through 12 are encouraged to submit applications by February 25.

MGM's Orion Pictures and Audible will present a one night only performance, Women Talking: An Evening of Wild Female Imagination, at Audible's off-Broadway Minetta Lane Theatre on Monday evening, January 9th. The performance will be recorded and available later in January on Audible. 

With creative support from New Georges and Clubbed Thumb, playwrights Justice Hehir, Dena Igusti, Phanésia Pharel, Nia Akilah Robinson, and Julia Specht release THE WISH, a free, downloadable play meant to spark conversation and protest in the wake of the Supreme Court's draft opinion against Roe v. Wade and increasing numbers of statewide bans.

Mientus will play the role of Larry Stohler. The cast is led by Abubakr Ali as the titular hero Grendel/Hunter Rose. Also in the cast are Brittany Allen, Julian Black Antelope, Kevin Corrigan, Emma Ho, Jaime Ray Newman, Erik Palladino and Madeline Zima.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film have announced the next wave of casting for the highly anticipated 34th Powerhouse Season in Poughkeepsie, NY, which starts this Friday, June 22 and runs through Sunday, July 29. Actors joining the annual summer play development incubator include Tony Award nominee Raul Esparza, Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, Tony Award nominee Denee Benton, Tony Award nominee Lauren Worsham, Tony Award nominee Alex Brightman, Noah Galvin, Frankie J.
