Australian born Ben McHugh has never been far from the stage. His first experience was as Danny Zuko in his high school production of GREASE. Discovering his love for the theater and acting, Ben performed in numerous community musical theater productions, before being accepted in to the prestigious West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) to which he graduated with a BA in Musical Theater.
Ben has since performed in the Australian National Tours of PIRATES OF PENZANCE, SHOUT! THE MUSICAL OF THE WILD ONE and most notably THE PRODUCERS (directed by Susan Stroman) as the "Springtime For Hitler" Lead Tenor for which he was nominated for a Green Room Award. (Peter), CHESS (Anatoly), ANYTHING GOES (Billy), A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (Hero) and TITANIC (Thomas Andrews).

He has also been a regular performer with P&O Australia and Princess Cruises.
In 2015, Ben made his Broadway debut in the ABBA hit musical MAMMA MIA! He has also appeared in the National Tours of HAIRSPRAY, MAMMA MIA!, and the International Tour of GREASE.
