The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces the first Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District of the New Year on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to Midnight.

Michael Winograd's acclaimed Yiddish Art Trio, known around the world for its stunning reinterpretions of klezmer music will perform for the first time in eastern Connecticut at the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry tonight, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold on the night of the performance at the door for $10 ($8 for students), payable by cash or check.

Out of the welter of human misery, vice and foolishness there emerges the moving case of a decent young man who has stolen money from his employer; a hardened criminal dragging his young friend down with him; a lawless NJ 'gardener' with a corrupt lawyer; and others. In the throes of the tumult is Detective McLeod -- a man whose black & white vision of justice will be challenged by the woman he loves most: his wife. A cast of 22 men and women will bring this drama of truth and consequences to life on the stage November 8-17, 2013.

Cynthia Hopkins returns to St. Ann's Warehouse and bids farewell to the institution's current home at 38 Water Street with Songs for This Clement World. Featuring a 15-member ensemble of musicians and vocalists, the concert will include the first performance of new songs from This Clement World, a new work that 'poetically but urgently addresses global climate change.'
