"The Last Romance," written by Joe DiPietro and directed by Christy Montour-Larson, is the ninth annual summer theater fundraiser for Senior Housing Options (SHO), a non-profit organization providing quality affordable housing and services for 500 adults in Colorado. The production is SHO's major -- and only -- annual fundraiser and builds on the success of past runs such as "The Odd Couple (Female Version)" (2015), "On Golden Pond" (2014), "Steel Magnolias" (2013), and "Driving Miss Daisy" (2012).

The Spitfire Grill, based on the film of the same name, follows Percy (Megan Van De Hey), who just got out of prison. A page from an old magazine brings her to the town of Gilead, Wisconson, where she finds a job at the Spitfire Grill working for Hannah (Anne Oberbroeckling), an aging widow who also lives in the building. While Hannah has been trying to sell it for years, Percy suggests she raffle it off for whoever writes the best essay and sends a hundred dollars. They team up with Shelby (Kelly Watt), who also works at the grill.
