Upstate New York-based folk artist Holland Belle is excited to present “What’s Best For You,” the latest song to be lifted from her debut solo album, Bird Song. Recorded at Basement Floods Records analog recording studio in Catskill, NY and produced by Dante Bardo, the forthcoming Bird Song is an album about building faith in something greater.

Change, evolution and joy take real courage, and while some will be content to stay underwater, Bird Song sees Belle swim towards the surface.

The video is a composite of found footage, all taken from Westerns of the 60’s and 70's that had fallen into the public domain. It centers on a largely forgotten Spaghetti Western from 1968, which stars the beautiful Elsa Martinelli as an outlaw gambler and gunslinger on the run. This era of film making has long been an inspiration for Belle.

JBXDR has showcased his talent of the stages of Fringe and The Great Escape ​in Brighton, UK, as well as a string of German festivals including Reeperbahn Festival​, Übel und Gefährlich​, Hakken​, Badehaus​, Plötzlich am Meer​, At.tension #7​, LALA Festival​, and Habitat Festival. He was selected by software music sequencer Ableton Live to be featured in collaboration with Mattokind for several live videos and a documentary presented on their site.

Co-produced by Helge Hasselberg (Trümmer, Heartbeast, Lukas Endhardt, Kobito) and mastered by Hauke Albrecht (Turbostart, Ronda), the anticipated LP will showcase this one-of-a-kind producer's ability to process, sample, extract, splice and dice just about anything thrown his way. Lyric Stage will close its twenty-fifth season with 1951?s Best Musical Tony Award winner, Frank Loesser, Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows' Broadway masterpiece GUYS AND DOLLS, in association with SMU Meadows School of the Arts.
