Cast Set For THE ASSASSINATION OF JULIUS CAESAR AS TOLD BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE AND GEORGE BERNARD SHAW at BEDLAM


New York theatre company BEDLAM, led by Artistic Director Eric Tucker, has announced casting for its next show. THE ASSASSINATION OF JULIUS CAESAR AS TOLD BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE AND GEORGE BERNARD SHAW will have its world premiere at the West End Theatre (263 West 86th St.), starting performances on February 24th, 2024.

Latecomers to director Terry Kinney's finely-acted Signature Theatre revival of Sam Shepard's 1977 dysfunctional family drama, Curse of the Starving Class, will miss the showstopping bit of stagecraft that opens the production, as set designer Julian Crouch's kitchen interior of a worse-for-wear California Valley farmhouse literally becomes a house divided, splitting horizontally with the top half appearing to crumble upwards.

Animus Theatre Company (Jonathan Judge-Russo, Founding Artistic Director) in association with the Circle in the Square Professional Workshop, has announced the schedule and casting for its annual 12-Hour Reading Festival, which returns to Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre this Thursday, July 19, beginning at 11:00am. MOURNING THE LIVING Examines the Impact of Alzheimer's at Thespis Theater Festival


The Thespis Theater Festival will present the world premiere of Mickele Hogan's first full-length play, "Mourning the Living," which explores the struggle of caring for a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

The play will be presented at 9 p.m. on Aug. 11; 1 p.m. on Aug. 13 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Hudson Guild Theater, 441 West 26th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues.  Tickets are $18 and can be obtained through http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2551912. It is directed by Alan Souza, who has directed both plays and musicals for Drury Lane/Chicago, The Laguna Playhouse, and Texas Shakespeare Festivals, among others.

Berkshire Theatre Group & New Neighborhood's 'I SAW MY NEIGHBOR' Begins Next Week


Berkshire Theatre Group and Artistic Director/CEO Kate Maguire are pleased to announce the world premiere co-production with New Neighborhood of I Saw My Neighbor On the Train and I Didn't Even Smile by Suzanne Heathcote, directed by Jackson Gay. Opening night is Saturday, July 18. Preview performances begin on Thursday, July 16 at 7pm and the production closes Saturday, August 15 at 8pm.
