Allen Hidalgo was last seen in the Las Vegas production of "Jersey Boys." Prior to coming to Los Angeles, Allen created the starring role of Louie The Devil, opposite Keith David in the Broadway Production "Hot Feet", Directed and Choreographed by Maurice Hines with the music of Earth Wind and Fire.



Allen's dance single The Message on Moonshine Records topped the Billboard Dance Charts for 9 weeks. In addition he can be heard on Four Guys Named Jose original cast recording, Candide Broadway revival recording and DRG 25th Anniversary Broadway Showstoppers, to name a few.



Allen's first Broadway show was the 1st National Company of "Cats". After that, he landed the original production of "Fame, The Musical" where he created the role of Joe Vegas. Since then, he has held starring and featured roles in "Starlight Express" as Greaseball and Electra, "West Side Story" as Bernardo, "A Chorus Line" as Paul, for which he was nominated by the Star Ledger for Best Featured Actor In A Musical in addition to performing the role in Europe.



Allen performed in "Ain't Misbehavin" as Andre, for which he won Best Actor In A Musical in Florida, in addition to performing the role Nationally with Marcia Milgram Dodge as Director. Allen created the role of The Governor's Aide in the last Broadway Revival of "Candide" playing opposite Andrea Martin and Jim Dale and Directed by the great Hal Prince. He has also performed Nationally in the current Broadway Revival of "Chicago" as Fred Casely and Billy Flynn.



Allen created the role of Jose Boriqua in the Off-Broadway smash, "Four Guys Named Jose". In addition: He was seen in the original Pre-Broadway Production of "The Mambo Kings" where he received critical acclaim for creating the iconic role of Desi Arnaz, opposite Esai Morales.



Allen's single most cherished time in the Broadway Theatre was the honor of performing the role of Molina in the Original National Production of "Kiss Of The Spiderwoman" opposite the amazing and legendary Chita Rivera whom he calls a Goddess.



Allen has made several Television and Film appearances. Including "To Wong Foo" produced by Academy Awardร‚ยฎ winner Steven Spielberg. Others include: "Kiss Of Chaos", "Didn't This Used To Be Fun?" , "Law and Order: CI" and "the Guiding Light".
