Players Circle Theater is ready to raise the roof with their largest production to date, GODSPELL, running April 16th – May 12th, 2024. 

Set in the early 1960's, three young marines, Eddie Birdlace and his two best friends Bernstein and Boland, or as they like to be called the 'Three B's', are fresh out of training and about to be deployed into the small but growing war in Vietnam. These 'Three B's' consider this war a calling for heroes, and picture themselves returning for a 'Hometown Hero's Ticker Tape Parade'. Rambunctious, fearless, and bloated with confidence, these three best friends set out to enjoy one last boy's night, waging a cruel and heartless bet on who can get the homeliest date. Yet when Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an awkward and practical waitress, this despicable game becomes less amusing. Former Broadway Les Miserables cast members Deborah Bradshaw and Craig Schulman lend a hand in the Cumberland County College Theater Arts Department for their production of Les Miserables.
