Early Christmas wishes are granted today as Pink Flamingo Films and Pink Flamingo Records announce that Beverley Knight has released “A Christmas Wish, The Theme To The Loss Adjuster”, an original Christmas single for the soundtrack for feature film The Loss Adjuster. The new song and music video are available today.

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, 80-year-old composer Paul Harvey got the surprise of his life when he got a shoutout from his musical idol, Stephen Sondheim. Harvey, who has battled which dementia, went viral on Twitter after he recorded a two minute piano piece with the help of his son, Nick.

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) announced the winners of the 2010 Writers Guild Awards on Saturday, February 20, for outstanding achievement in writing for screen, television, radio, news, promotional, and videogame writing at simultaneous ceremonies at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles and the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City. Susie Essman of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' hosted the East Coast ceremony while Seth MacFarlane 'Family Guy' was the host for the West Coast show.
