David Mirvish is a Toronto-based theatrical producer. Mr. Mirvish owns and operates four theatres in Toronto: the Royal Alexandra, the Princess of Wales, the Panasonic and the Canon. Mirvish Productions, a company founded by Mr. Mirvish in 1986, produces live theatre for these and other venues throughout Canada, the United States and England. In 1982, Mr. Mirvish and his father, Ed Mirvish, purchased and refurbished the venerable Old Vic Theatre in London, England, which they operated until 1998.

David Mirvish has been nominated for several awards, including Best Revival of a Play at the Tony Awards for "Skylight," Best Revival of a Musical at the Tony Awards for "Violet," Best Play at the Tony Awards for "Lucky Guy," Best Revival of a Musical at the Tony Awards for "Guys and Dolls," and Best Revival of a Play at the Tony Awards for "Macbeth." He also received The Society's Special Award at the Olivier Awards.
