Dalia Davi BIO

Dalia Davi is an American actress born in New York City and raised in the south Bronx. Her Parents were born in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Dalia is fluent in four languages and as a child used to preach in her local church where her passion for performing began. She spent six seasons with The Spanish Repertory Theater of New York City, and is known for her versatility with accents, dialects, strong latin female characters, and physical transformations for her roles. Dalia played the lead role in the award-winning Puerto Rican short film GABI- official Selection TriBeca Film Festival 2012 and HBO NYILFF. Voted Best Theatre Actress 2012 and 2015 by Association of Latino Entertainment Critics- ACE Award, Five-time HOLA Award winner for Latino Theater, and won best acting for a female in a short film at NYU's 2012 First Run Festival.

Sting Joins THE HOMEBOUND PROJECT


The Homebound Project has announced that it will return on January 27–31 with its sixth edition. Music icon Sting and actors Paul Sparks and Eden Malyn join the previously announced team of actors, playwrights, and directors.

She is one of the newest members of The Kilroys and was a writer for FX's The Americans. Her plays - which include Alligator and The Ghosts of Lote Bravo - reveal a writer who cares deeply about the possibility of change through human interaction.

The Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture to Present LA NENA SE CASA


The Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture presents Repertorio Español performing the popular comedy La nena se casa (Our Little Girl is Getting Married) on Saturday, October 29, 7 PM in the Repertory Theater at Hostos Community College.  Called "acerbic with biting wit," La nena se casa is a satirical indictment of the vanity, superficiality and desperation of Puerto Rico's upper classes. La nena se casa was just recently retired from Repertorio Español's regular rotation, and the Hostos performance is the only performance currently scheduled of this popular play which will be performed in Spanish with English surtitles above the stage
