Northern Ballet have released the first photos of their 2022 revival of The Nutcracker which will tour to theatres across the UK from 10 November.

This winter Northern Ballet's enchanting festive favourite The Nutcracker, returns to stages across the UK, taking audiences on a sparkling adventure as one child's Christmas dreams come true. The Nutcracker will open at Woking New Victoria Theatre on Thursday 10 November and tour to Nottingham Theatre Royal, Norwich Theatre Royal and Hull New Theatre before arriving at Leeds Grand Theatre for a three week run over the Christmas period.

The Winter Gardens Blackpool announced today their partnership with West End Producer Mark Goucher (Hairspray, Priscilla Queen of the Desert) to bring Blackpool's biggest ever family pantomime to the Opera House Blackpool next Christmas. Back in 1994, Stephan Elliott created a funny and powerful road-trip film that soon became a cult classic. Priscilla Queen Of The Desert was a pioneering LGBTQ+ comedy and found a successful home on the stage starring Jason Donovan. This newly-adapted musical tour sees Donovan take the reins as producer of a show that sparkles, but lacks some depth.

Mark Goucher and first-time producer Jason Donovan have today announced that actor and Strictly Come Dancing winner Joe McFadden will star in their brand-new production of the much-loved glittering hit musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The producers have also announced today that the tour will continue through 2020. The show, which was announced last year, will tour the UK and Ireland from September 2019. It marks Donovan's first time as a producer, having performed in the cast of the original West End production and two subsequent UK tours. The producing team is completed by Gavin Kalin and Matthew Gale. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert will preview in Dartford from 5 September 2019.

Northern Ballet's take on the Three Musketeers is beautiful to watch, with a fantastic score and some delightful fight scenes.

Ronald Harwood's Quartet follows the antics of four elderly former opera stars as they live out their days in a specialist musician's retirement home in an expansive country residence in Kent.

Following the West End revival last year of The Dresser, Mark Goucher is presenting Quartet. This will be the first production that the producer will mount in his new role as CEO of the Cheltenham Everyman Theatre. This Everyman Theatre production will then be presented on a UK tour by Mark Goucher and David Ian.

Written, directed and featuring Berwick Kaler, the world's first historically incorrect pantomime- based on fact- will be thrilling (or should that be confusing!!) theatre audiences from tonight, 13th December through Saturday 2nd February 2013.
