Michele Ragusa to Play Title Role in Riverside Theatre's MAME

After playing Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello Dolly! to great critical and popular acclaim last season, Michele Ragusa returns to Riverside Theatre in another iconic role, that of Mame Dennis in Mame.

With extensive Broadway credits including Young Frankenstein, Urinetown, Ragtime, A Class Act, Titanic and Cyrano; Off-Broadway in Adrift in Macao, Craving for Travel and Disaster; and at major regional theatres across the country, Ms. Ragusa made Dolly her own, a role she had never played before.

Michele Ragusa plays Mame Dennis in Mame at Riverside Theatre from March 7 -26, 2017.

The creative team includes: James Brennan (Director), Ken Clifton (Musical Director), Cliff Simon (Scenic Designer), Kurt Alger (Costume Designer), Julie Duro, (Lighting Designer), Craig Beyrooti (Sound Designer) with Mark Johnson (Stage Manager) and Amy Bertacini (Assistant Stage Manager). Casting was done in New York City by Wojcik / Seay Casting.
