Robert Dubac's THE BOOK OF MORON

Friday, June 14th at 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 15th at 2 & 8 p.m.; Sunday, June 16th at 2 p.m.; tickets $55

Robert Dubac's newest Off-Broadway solo hit, THE BOOK OF MORON is a fast-paced, hilarious production that combines satire and theater into what is being described by critics as: "Razor-sharp!"... "Laugh Out loud!"... "Provocative!"... "Thought Provoking!"... "Brilliant!" and "A Thinking Man's One Man Show!" Robert Dubac draws on decades of showbiz experience as a writer, actor and stand-up comic to create solo shows that explore social mores, political ideas and the complexity of the human experience. He belongs to a unique breed of humorists, bringing to mind the best of Lily Tomlin and Mark Twain, creating characters that boggle our minds with biting wit and rapid-fire satire while simultaneously crafting a simple story that binds us all together. The New York Times raves, "Riding shotgun with intelligence and absurdity, THE BOOK OF MORON crashes head first into the barriers of sex, race, religion, politics and the media. It may be offensive to some, but there's laughter for all!"

With a prime location on Lake Ida, the Delray Beach Playhouse has presented exceptional community theater since 1947. Main Stage Plays, Musical Memories, Interactive Studio Theatre and Children's Theatre have been Playhouse mainstays. Newer series offering outstanding music performances by actors and vocalists from South Florida, to Chicago, to Broadway include: Artists Lounge Live, The Cabaret, Playhouse Presents and Feelin' Groovy Nostalgic Concerts.
