Celebrate New Year's Eve 2017 In Delray Beach Delray Beach is hosting the best family friendly celebration in South Florida. From toddlers to teens, New Year's Eve 2017 offers fun and games for the whole family.

Atlantic Avenue and Swinton Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic at 4 pm. Family friendly activities will be concentrated at the Old School Square campus and park from 5 pm, with activities at the 100 Foot Christmas Tree winding down around 9 pm.

"Atlantic Avenue can get a little busy on New Year's Eve so we want the families to be able to enjoy the New Year's activities in a calmer environment as the evening progresses," said Stephanie Immelman, executive director of the Delray Beach Marketing Cooperative (DBMC), which produces the celebration, along with the City of Delray Beach.

Attendees can feast at the food trucks on Swinton Avenue. Kids can enjoy an assortment of outdoor crafts and games. There will be a Resolution Wall, Celebration Crowns, Photo booth, Face Painters, and more. Parents can re-live their misspent youth in the Vintage Game Room featuring pinball, video games and board games, all backed with an 80's soundtrack at the Fieldhouse.

There will be live music at the Old School Square outdoor pavilion by Drew Tucker. The dance party by DJ Al Johnson starts at 7 pm.
