Lora Nicolas Will Lead First Reading of 'Reginald: from Baltimore to Billionaire'

Lora Nicolas will lead the upcoming first reading of Reginald: from Baltimore to Billionaire, based on the life of the first Black Billionaire Reginald F. Lewis by KEVIN Ray Johnson (Playwright - The Unpredictable Times, Off Broadway - Before it got 'Unpredictable': Short Plays by KEVIN Ray Johnson) Monday August 15th, 7:00 pm at Shetler Studios Penthouse 2.

Johnson, (who is growing into one of New York City's finest up and coming playwrights) will direct the reading as well.

Lora Nicolas, a NYC based actress who most recently performed the title role of Norah Andrews in 'A Week in the Life of Norah Andrews' Off Broadway at The Davenport Theatre who has also performed the role of Kim in Miss Saigon several times regionally as well as Here Lies Love workshop at The Public Theatre will play the role of Loida Nicolas-Lewis, the wife of Reginald F. Lewis.

(Lora also happens to be the real life niece of Reginald F. Lewis and Loida Nicolas-Lewis).

Full cast will be announced at a later date.

The show according the press notes is a 'play that follows the first Black Billionaires life from childhood until the biggest deal of his life (Beatrice) that made him become a Billionaire. You will see the struggles he overcomes as well as his triumphs which include getting into Harvard and meeting his wife Loida among many others that shows why he is one of the most interesting and influential human beings not only in Black History but American and World History.'
