Sorry about us being "whining neo-conservative slobs" but I'd rather see taxpayer money going into something useful than this skewed bullshit. Fault - This man is so ignorant. So sick of him. He is extraordinarily cruel. He's a case where I separate the FORMER artist from the CURRENT man. This man hasn't cared for a project since 1990... Everything to him has been about money since 1990, and it shows in his lackluster work, his tendency to throw others under the bus, and his ignorance to the artistic contributions of his collaborators.

Don Treact - The five actresses with Taylor Caldwell's initials were named as Toni Collette, Tisha Campbell, Tia Carrere, Tina Cole, and Tawny Kitaen. "Twenty-one actresses named." So what do they spell? Without the Taylor Caldwell ones, they spell (last names) MS. K SHOCK SLID BASH. That says that Jessica Fletcher, an expert on the shock apparently caused and distributed by murder itself with all of the falsehoods that that means, slid the party scenes along, getting into things in her own way! Jessica Fletcher is Ms. K Shock. But if we add the five Taylor Caldwell actresses, or just the initial C for the four who provide that and the initial K from Kitaen, it's MS. SLICK K SHOCK BASHD. Missing the initial E in its last word, it still provides that Jessica Fletcher is Ms. Slick K Shock, a faked shock from a killing, and that she "bashd" those who needed to be bashed.

Don Treact - Amber Benson was named because in "7 Things To Do Before I'm 30" she rebuked her mother with three distinct efforts she was never supported in, plus the grab-grab-grab of her letters to the editor right out of the newspaper! "Twelve actresses named." Marion Seldes was named because of what today's posts already have, being on Broadway in 1961 in the more serious play, while Jessica Fletcher was. Tom Bosley of course was also LaGuardia then. Dean Jones had his play. Allison Argo, the narrator of the bird drama, provided the word "cusp" in a spoken context, so as usable for Current U.S. President. "Fourteen actresses named." Kellie Martin was named because she still eludes the methodology which under the S.E.C. did succeed in predicting the Jessica Fletcher episodes in their Hallmark sequence. Cindy Crawford was named to provide the competitor in a Miss America Pageant one would have to struggle against. "Sixteen actresses named."

Don Treact - So that's five actresses named. Lindsay Lohan had to be named to protect her, and show that the cover of Houston Heat has her flexible approach in the artwork of the Jean Iversen character. Ione Skye got named as possibly a future U.S. president, as having played a character in a television movie the bare bones of which could have been a Jessica Fletcher episode, in which the character played by Tyne Daly, now spelled right, is her mother-in-law and has her murdered. Skye, it turns out, can't be president. That's eight actresses named. "Eight actresses named." is said by a female character voice. I didn't add one! Natalie Imbruglia was named because her song "Torn" pervaded 1999 and helped place when Hoss on "Bonanza" opposed hangings. Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were then added to join Lohan. "Eleven actresses named."

Don Treact - Doing a slightly better mini-review, only Tricia O'Neil and Kat Sawyer-Young were ever named as in the first, two-hour Jessica Fletcher episode. The actress playing Louise was never named, and there is a young Louise who has been spoken with during the recent posts, the name being quite a rare encounter now, and she's thin and has a toothy mouth with a slightly Asiatic face. It could be helpful. Then, to back up the Kitty Donovan character in the first Jessica Fletcher episode, recourse to Taylor Caldwell was engaged in. That same novel proved to have Jennifer Love Hewitt, Felicity Kendall, and Penelope Keith as victim of the most unfortunate wording in these posts as essentially blocking out claims of relevance to the government of males doing what they do as males, which is the Nazis in the novel, from getting involved in their lives, which in "Good Neighbors" is like her trying to keep the farming efforts of Felicity Kendall and her husband from attracting the authorities.

Don Treact - Allison Argo was also forgotten just now, as the narrator who used to word "cusp" to compare with its use for Current U.S. President. Also, the name Trisha was forgotten as it can mean an ongoing resident with father problems who hones out exact moments in very unfortunate ways, or perhaps recovers. With Argo included with the actresses, then, there are 16 who have been named which now includes Marion Seldes of the Warsaw ghetto play in 1961 while Jessica Fletcher was playing a long-in-the-tooth personal services female, and which now includes Kellie Martin. Then there are the 5 actresses whose consonant sounds go inherently with Taylor Caldwell. Thus there are 21 possible actress names to make acronyms from, with it admitted that Argo only made it because she can provide a much needed vowell. This will be done with last names.

applause - A movie is a different medium from stage and we should not expect this movie musical to simply mirror the staging of a live performance on stage. I expect the screenplay to consider changing some of the sung-through dialogs to one with both spoken and sung words, as that would make the movie even more compelling. Sometimes sung-throughs lessen the intensity and focus of strong dialogs! Movie actors also emote differently compared to musical theatre actors, as the big screen will require even more dramatic chops. I would say that vocal prowess, while ideal, will take less precedence compared to great acting in this movie. This story has been retold on the screen several times in a non-musical way ( Frederic March, Liam Neeson, Gerard Depardieu, et al - men of stature for their acting and their physicality), for after all, it is the tale of history and characters from Victor Hugo's monumental work which underpins any story-telling, whether on screen or on stage!

applause - Re the choice of actors -- A choice like Hugh Jackman would be perfect as he combines the talent and experience of someone who has performed with great success in both mediums as well as the physicality that the role demands. Plus he has that natural charisma shining through in either live performance or simply with his screen presence! Hugh has the physical attributes, dramatic range ... and I remember Adam Guettel once saying that he thought Hugh Jackman was such a natural when segueing from spoken to sung dialogs and vice versa! Couldn't agree more! I hope the role of Javert could go to someone like Christian Bale ( "Newsies") and maybe even Russell Crowe ( who can also be Valjean to Jackman's Javert). These actors are great portraying compelling and forceful characters on screen. This is a movie, not a stage musical ;-)

Camilla Kerslake had to bow out, Katie Hall, who played Cossette in the touring production, played the same role at the O2 concerts.

Don Treact - It looks like Taylor Caldwell finally got to Danielle Steel, in that I incorrectly said that the only living female U.S. citizens I have mentioned are actresses and six female citizens who either introduced themselves to me, or drove the car with the huge wood sign attached to the back of it after September 11. Of course, Danielle Steel is very much alive and simply in this case the victim of the dominance of Taylor Caldwell in these posts. P.D. James of course is not a U.S. citizen, and again all of the living females mentioned over 128 posts have been now mentioned here, which means that the bulk are actresses. More on that in a bit. Several things need to be said about the shack in "Wrong Turn" of '03 and first it can be seen as like one built by a West Virginian, who explains "but raght whare the Virginia border tucks in. It's on the V'rginia sahde of the line. So we lakh to show it to people, becahse it's the fahn-est house thahe is in Virginia."

AnActor - You should know that sometimes actors that participate in workshops are not always available for the run of a show. You can't imagine how the performers felt? Honey, it happens everyday!!!! Do you know anything about shows going from regional theatre to Broadway...? a no-name actor on monday and a celebrity on tuesday!!! - it comes with the territory. Just because different actors were cast, doesn't discount the work of the actors from the worksop. But have you seen the show or read the reviews -the show is amazing! "There should be a law against doing this to performers and the audience!" - you obviously have NOT seen the show, because its wonderful... It has been re-written, re-worked, there are new songs, new scenes - the piece underwent several changes, cast included - something you probably don't know - several of the actors who are in this production were supposed to be in the workshop but were off doing other shows - so, many actors from the workshop were simply "standing in".... Calm down, see the show & then leave some comments that are actually INFORMED!

Frank Furter - What a ridiculous waste of my tax dollars. The democrats must be booted out of office. They are being frivolous with my tax dollars and people are going to bed hungry so they can afford to drive to work. Because they work they do not qualify for any benefit whatsoever from the golden goose. Yet folks that don't work are using their foodstamp cards in Hawaii.

MauricePColgan - The Lanza influence on Elvis is readily apparent in "It's Now Or Never" (O Sole Mio) and "Surrender" (Torna A Sorrento). Of "It's Now Or Never", Henry Pleasants in his book The Great American Singers, noted that: "In his famous Neapolitan air (originally "O Sole Mio) he suddenly sounds for all the world like a Neapolitan tenor. Pleasants also stated that Elvis possessed the vocal range of an operatic baritone or tenor and observed: "He [Elvis] had not been confined to one type of vocal production. In ballads and country songs he belts out full-voiced high Gs and As that an opera baritone might envy.

B J Cheh - Alway pleasant, humorous and kind to peaple he meets but now just pleasant memories within myself. First I saw him at Bel - Aire Hotel in California when my daughter, Jessca was about 5 or 6 years old. My wife Shawn and myself encouraged her to say hello to him. She approached him and said " Hello Mr. Curtis" I am Jessica and he kissed on her hand. She is an attorney. Somehow, destiny arranged to meet with him when he was about 72 years and numorous meetings ever since. He was humber, kind and attracted by all aged people. What a life he had! We paid our respect to him yesterday at Palms. I know he is being surrounded by many entertainers under God's protection now. We miss you so much Mr. Curtis. He remembered me as BJ.

HappyMom - I'm so glad it wasn't just me!! This was truly one of the worst interviews I've ever read. It felt like a middle school student invented an interview with their favorite star and imagined what they might say. I met KC briefly -- she was an absolute doll and made my 12 year-old daughter feel like a million bucks. She is absolutely a class act and deserves better than this drivel. I'd love to read a REAL interview with her and hear what she has to say about what's going on in theatre today. This interviewer needs to be allowed to go back to their school newspaper and learn how to write!!

He sang in virtually every musical genre that was available to him. A truly amazing talent and one we will never see the likes of again.

Scott V Johnson - Aloha, This play can’t be less than AWSOME…If you have ever truly cared for someone, who really needed your help… and you freely gave it, this story will touch your heart. I was there, Kauai Museum the first public reading of the play, here before friends and family I heard the history I knew come to life through Lee’s words. Was Chicken Skin time… and I only heard the play. Being ‘the train guy’ I had knowledge of the event from the factual historical accounts but this was always a story about the people and now I feel I understand them. I want to “see this play again”.

BTW, I was there on Sunday, and nobody was getting in anybody's face about anything (except maybe the little girl who's balloon popped.. she was very upset.
