The New York Musical Theatre Festival, in association with Ulmer Theatricals, has announced the world premiere production of Carl Kissin and Robert Baumgartner, Jr.'s DATE OF A LIFETIME, directed by Jeremy Dobrish and choreographed by Wendy Seyb. DATE OF A LIFETIME will play seven performances only at McGinn/Cazale Theatre (2162 Broadway, 4th Floor, between 76-77 Street.) Performances begin Monday, October 3 and continue Sunday, October 16.

One date. Eight minutes. Two lifetimes.

During their limited time together on a speed date, Marvin hypothesizes what his entire life with Katie might be like - from present day through death. Then it's her turn. Will this awkward
first encounter be another "looking for love" horror story replete with requisite nametags and whistles - or might it be the date of a lifetime?

The production stars Farah Alvin (Broadway: Nine, The Look of Love, Saturday Night Fever, Grease! and A Christmas Carol. Off-Broadway: The Marvelous Wonderettes (Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress), I Love You Because, Cam Jansen, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie..., and Kuni-Leml) as Katie, and Jamie LaVerdiere (Broadway debut in The Producers as Matthew Broderick's understudy. Broadway and Touring: Pirate Queen, Urinetown (First National), and A Chorus Line (Europe). Off-Bway includes I Love You, You're Perfect..., Cam Jansen, We the People, and This Side of Paradise) as Marvin.

The production is produced by Liz Ulmer and features scenic and props design by Susan Barras, and lighting design by Jeff Croiter. G. Alan Busch is the sound designer and Andrea Jo Martin is the production stage manager.
