This remarkable historical drama has got the whole nation buzzing. In this regional premiere of "In The Next Room (or the Vibrator Play)," a doctor and his wife struggle to rekindle their love at the dawn of the age of electricity. Based on historical events, this story about the phenomenon of "female hysteria" takes us under the stiff corsets of 1890's and into the pent-up passions beneath. A play about women finding their power, and men finally finding their women. The New York Times calls it "insightful, fresh and funny; the play is as rich in thought as it is in feeling."
