Audition Dates:

Sunday November 1st, 2020 starting at 3pm

Monday November 2nd, 2020 starting at 7pm

Possible Callbacks Wednesday November 4th at 7pm

No appointments needed

Rehearsals begin November 9th.

Show Dates:

January 7th – 24th, 15 performances total.

About the Show:

Always... Patsy Cline is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961. The musical play, complete with down home country humor, true emotion, and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight”…27 songs in all.

Roles:

Patsy Cline: Female, age 25-35. Seeking a dynamic and passionate actor/singer who can embody Patsy Cline in voice and spirit. The ability to mimic Patsy's unique vocal sound is imperative.

Louise Seger: Female, age 35-60. A strong-willed, funny Texan woman and an engaging storyteller. She has a great deal of interaction with the audience as she relates the friendship she develops with Patsy. Strong vocal talent and comedic sense are needed for this role.

*Please prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show or from the show. Please bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. A speaker will also be provided to play tracks provided the track is cued correctly prior to entering the audition room.
