His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen. Come join the townspeople of River City in this wonderful slice of Americana as they perform such hummable tunes as "Seventy-Six Trombones," "Gary, Indiana," "Wells Fargo Wagon," "Ya Got Trouble" and "Till There Was You."
