Russian-American violinist Yevgeny Kutik immigrated to the U.S. with his family at the age of five. His parents were only able to bring two suitcases with them on this journey yet prioritized bringing their sheet music. Kutik has captivated audiences worldwide with his poetic and imaginative playing, and in this intimate concert he plays the music from the suitcase in a program that honors his Jewish cultural and musical heritage.
