The musicians of the Quartet give Goals ' immersive versions (de Volkskrant). ' Thus position themselves as great ambassadors for the 20th-and 21st-century String Quartet. A wide audience they meet with the richness of this repertoire. With inspiring concert series and CDs on quality labels for gourmets. In this program they present masterpieces of four German composers.

Four individuals, each with its own style. Hans Erich Apostel oriented itself on Mahler and Schoenberg. Karl Amadeus Hartmann was made affiliation with Bartók and Kodaly. Very special is the combination of Webern and Manfred Trojahn. The Rondo from 1906 is still an early work by Webern. With one foot in the romance he sought a new language and took one look ahead. A century later, Manfred Trojahn right back. With Chant d'insomnie III proves he that the romance is still a valuable source of inspiration. The Goals Quartet is cut out for this repertoire. The CDs with string quartets by Apostle and Hartmann were given rave reviews.
