Tonight there is a very special tribute to the French culture icon Serge Gainsbourg in the Concert Hall of Theaters Tilburg! Tonight will bring an ode to the French chansonnier Mick Harvey. Mick Harvey, you ask? Yes, the Mick Harvey. The founder of The Birthday Party and also the co-founder of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds. Harvey played from the beginning up to 2009 in The Bad Seeds. He is currently also the supervisor of PJ Harvey (no relation), and helped to her critically acclaimed album ' Let England Shake '. In the years brought Mick two albums with covers and translations of the work of Gainsbourg: ' Intoxicated Man ' and ' Pink Elephants '. On 7 april, the 86th birthday of the French master, these two albums re-released and goes on tour the world with a limited one-time Harvey. The show in Tilburg is the only show in the Benelux! Today he gets help from the Dutch singer Janne Schra.
