Time flies. The debut of An Pierlé, ' Mud Stories ', is already almost 15 years old. On this album you heard how Belgian clean with minimal instrumentation – piano and that beautiful voice – revealed her soul. On successor ' Helium Sunset ' she picked up a little larger, but the remained small, sultry songs. And when? When she stopped her solo career and she went along with her partner, further as An Pierlé & White Velvet. They also yielded some gems of albums, such as ' Hinterland ' from 2010. And now, 10 years (!) later, finally meets her long-awaited new solo album. With ' Strange Days ' Pierlé returns back to the piano, surrounds with small arrangementjes here and there. The vooruitgesnelde number "Such A Shame" (a cover of Talk Talk) already let the hair on your arms stand up straight. Tonight you can admire this enormous talent live. Let yourself be enchanted by the voice of An Pierlé.
An Pierlé is is joined by Love Like Birds. Love Like Birds is the project of Each de Mey, a young musician from Ghent. She is blessed with a warm and dreamy voice that slaapkamerfolk plays the leading role in its fine. In 2012, she released her self-titled debut EP, where she completed her dark, fair, lo-fi songs enriched with subtle arrangements. These ladies will surprise you!
